Learn about a few of our practices

- Our Beef -

Pasture-Raised Beef

Rotationally Grazed, 100% Grass Fed & Finished

Our beef is 100% grass fed & finished on intensive rotational grazing, for high nutrient content and increased soil health. (This practice is superior to usual open-grazing grass-fed operation). In the grass growing season, the herd is grazed on a daily rotation. Our pastures are maintained with hay and chicken poop as fertilizer. Our pastures never receive NPK sprays, and our cows never receive hormones, antibiotics, wormers, or vaccines. Our animals’ lives end in a quiet and respectful manner, in the fields they grew up in.

  • We rotationally graze our animals daily. This increases their health and nutrition, and builds soil health.

  • No chemicals or pesticides are ever used, for our health, their health, soil health.

  • Beef cows' diets are supplemented with Organic molasses, bioavailable minerals, Sea 90. 100% grass-fed and finished.

  • We milkshare with calves for their health & wellness. To create lifelong bonding, we bottle feed by hand.

  • Cows and calves enjoy fresh, clean pastures from birth onwards.

  • Thanks to these practices, our meat and dairy is full of vital nutrients (K2, A, D, CoQ10, saturated fat).

- Our Pork -

Heritage Pork

Milk-fed, soy-free, low-corn, low-PUFA, non-GMO

This pork is fatty and flavorful. Our pigs flourish in fresh air and sunshine. They are the rare heritage Mulefoot breed, and are raised on a small scale on deep bedding, incorporating regenerative and Korean Natural Farming methods. They consume raw soured skim milk, fresh hay, local non-GMO soaked whole grains, less corn, no soy - with a diet low in unhealthy PUFAs (polyunsaturated fatty acids), and higher in healthy saturated fats. Our pigs’ fat is superior, and creates greater health for those who consume it. Our pigs never receive hormones, antibiotics, wormers, or vaccines. The pork is processed on a small scale, locally.

  • We raise our happy family of pigs on deep bedding, with lots of sunlight.

  • Did you know that pigs love to eat grass? When they're little, we allow them to forage a bit around the barn :)
