About Us

Our small family farm is located in Indian Valley (Floyd County), Virginia. We have been farming regeneratively, and without GMOs or chemicals, for over a decade. We are now raising our family’s 4th generation of dairy farmers! We have a great passion for regenerating land. Responsible stewardship means caring for our soil, rotational and strip grazing, moving animals everyday in the growing season, and giving our grass long rest periods (usually at least 30 days). Our animals live a wonderful life - full of tall green grass, sunshine, and fresh Appalachian air. Beef are 100% grass fed and finished, and our A2/A2 dairy cows receive delicious & nutritional snacks (see our dairy herdshare page for more on our practices).

Flashback to 1953. The children pictured are my dad and some of his siblings, posing with two of the family Guernseys. The family dairy is still going strong, 7 decades later, in Albequerque, NM.
